11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Crochet teddy bear, with link to pattern! on: November 01, 2011 01:41:37 PM
Hi everybody, I just finished writing a teddy bear pattern. I've made a few bears to get the right result and I'm finally happy now. It's a 'quick to make pattern", for a not too big bear so it won't take very long to make this bear.

Hope you like him! You can find the pattern for him at my blog http://sonspopkes.wordpress.com/.

Have fun! And, if you're going to make this bear, please write a comment on my blog, I would love to hear from you!

17  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Alternative animal eyes on: September 09, 2011 11:24:34 AM
Sometimes it can be very difficult to find the right animal safety eyes and because of that I had to find an alternative. I found a good alternative (polished brads) which I use for a while now and it works great! If you're interested how to use brads as eyes, check out my blog:

I've written and illustrated a post about the brads and how to polish and use them, and some other tips for animal eyes. Hope this comes in handy.

Warmest regards, Sonja.
