Amazing work!
Both guns and gunmen (and lady). They have so much character. Great!

Nice way to honor that holiest of days. Heh-heh.
4  CANADA / Ontario / Re: Local yarn (wool)? Toronto or the south? on: May 06, 2011 10:25:32 AM
I second the Romni Wool recommendation.
Queen West, just west of Bathurst.

There, I found the needle-felting basics, either on their counter or the wall behind it. Wool roving in the basement. The staff I've talked to there was knowledgeable and... FAIRLY patient... with helping out a felting newbie just getting started.

Prices must've gone up, though, since Onyxnox was there. The 10-pack of needles that I bought from them was $16. The roving was also $16 per 1/2 lb. I think the undyed roving was less, but I've apparently lost the tag from its bag.

Anyway, when I need more, I'll go back again.

Maybe it's just my life-long Bubo-love, but Holy Moley, that mechanical bird is fantastic!

Infinitely awesome.
Great work!

I think my favorite part is the scientific names - like they're having a coyote/road runner-style race for the ground. Haha.

Haha! Practically perfect!

He just needs a little trigger mechanism to make him do the high-kicks.

I'm only guessing, but I bet that was a pretty massive improvement over the original paintjob.

Great work!

I think I'd need a new prescription for my glasses before I could fully appreciate all you've done here.  What a great and intricate piece of work. Your swap-mate is very lucky.

Very nice!

And after checking out your Wonder Woman, scrolling down to Pennywise made me cringe away from my computer... Which you should probably take as a compliment!
