1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where do you all find fabrics?! on: May 23, 2011 11:52:10 AM
Honestly, google is your best friend.  Google will find you any fabric you need.  Just search away!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Lack of Motivation (not to be confused with lack of inspiration) on: May 23, 2011 11:51:00 AM
You are probably being overwhelmed with all the options.  YOu need to just find your most favorite passionate one and stick with it and forget that there are any other options.  Its easy to get distracted especially when things arent going your way.  Stick with it and you will get it Smiley

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: New and discovering I suck at sewing :/ on: May 23, 2011 11:47:20 AM
It is normal to get discourage gal.  Keep doing whatever makes you feel happy.  If you arent having fun sewing then maybe sewing is not for you.  Don't look at the outcome so much, look at the process.  Don't worry so much about the outcome and sooner or later you will make something great.  Its like the golfer who focused too much on making it in the cup on the first shot.  He usually over shot it by far.  But when he just focused on hitting it close to the cup he did a lot better

Practice takes perfect hun.  I have been designing swimsuits for over 20 years and sometimes they still come out looking funky.  Just keep making them and making them and focus on your successes and forget your failures.
