1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Bronson on: March 10, 2012 01:04:08 AM
What can I say? This man is one of our favorite people ever. Mr. Charlie Bronson, this isnt Micky Peterson himself, it is the very hot Tom Hardy version. I did this with a few different types of pencils, ranging from #2, mechanical, and 8B

2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Bill the Butcher on: March 10, 2012 12:59:19 AM

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Michael Myers-Halloween (Rob Zombies version) on: February 23, 2012 07:06:28 PM
So for Valentines Day I decided to draw my super hunky babe one of his favorite characters, Michael Myers, but not just him in general, it HAS to be the Rob Zombie version or he isnt interested. So, it took me about a week and I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. His birthday is coming up soon and I have an Al Swearengen in the works Smiley

6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Coraline Painting -IMG HEAVY- on: February 08, 2012 01:51:45 PM
So here is the 3rd painting in the trio I did for my daughter! I love this one... Its supposed to be Coraline as she is entering her young adult adolescence. I love the button moon, and the flying batty scottish terriers! Enjoy!

7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Living Dead Girl! -IMG OBESE- on: February 08, 2012 01:44:36 PM
So here is number 2 for the pictures I painted for my daughter. This is kind of a zombie, rockabilly girl. I am pretty pleased with her bluish color. Hope you enjoy!!

8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Edna Scissorhands Painting -IMG HEAVY- on: February 07, 2012 11:23:51 PM
Hi all!! So for christmas I wasnt in the position to spend! So I found plain oval cuts of wood to decorate at the Dollar Tree and an idea was born! My 8 year old daughter is into anime, zombies, Tim Burton films and stories, creepy cuteness and more. She is at the age where she thinks she is too cool for toys and really wants to make her room a cool hang out spot. So I came up with this!! I am pretty skilled at meddling with the crafts, and I can draw but I was terribly nervous about painting... that is about the only thing (besides lapidary and quilting) that I didnt think I could do! But, I gave it a shot. There are actually 3 paintings total but this thread is for the one I did of Edna Scissorhands. I sketched up what I wanted beforehand and transferred the image to the wood. Enjoy!!

I took progress shots:

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Lolita Skullita on: May 22, 2011 04:05:59 PM
I cant resist dressing my kids with anything that has skulls, with taste. I bought a new purse and i wanted to pull the colors from it and make a matching headband.
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Owls Nest! on: May 22, 2011 04:04:52 PM
Although this doesnt have owls, the colors totally remind me of all the vintage retro owl decor i have seen everywhere. I'm still trying to perfect my veiling, so now its just a bunched up swoosh but I think it turned out kinda alright!!
