i have been using pieces of fabric in bright colors or nice fabric from clothes from the thrift store in a technique called furoshiki, that is basically the way that you fold the fabric to create beautiful wraps, here is the link for how to..


the idea is not just reuse, reduce recycle but that the fabric becomes a gift as well, an apron or pretty dish towel to use to wrap cook books for example.

this is a great idea, i know what to give for this christmas to some of my closest friends, we are always complaining about having the tampons swiming in the purse..thanks for the tutorial...

wow beadizzygrl, those are really nice, the pattern indeed is very versatile, i had many compliments with my necklace since i posted, but i just made 2 in different colors, i really liked a lot yours..congrats!!! Grin Grin
