I received a while ago from whatthepuck, for my nautilus theme. It's a very Edward Goreyesque hand drawn nautilus on a book page background. I think it's great!

I received from My_RubySlippers for my Jackalopes theme! She was "late" sending it(I don't really keep track) and for good reason. This card is mind boggling! A tiny Jackalope wall trophy, crocheted/knitted in teensy tiny stitches!

I received two cards this weekend, for my "favorite song lyrics" theme:

First, from sammylouise40. It's much brighter in person, love me some dayglo!

Next, from Oath Keeper, a silhouette of dancers. It's actually this really nice shimmery purple paper, I can't really explain it. I love it though, it's really neat!

Love the eggs sign!

I received from kosmicgirl for my bees and honey theme. It's quite the blinged out card, with glitter(it's not loose, I had to reassure my husband when he took the pic) and gold paper, which kosmicgirl said did not lend itself well to stamping. Well, I sure can't tell, because it's beautiful!

I received from psyche yesterday, so exciting! She sent me two jack in the boxes, one a kitty and one a pumpkin. They are so prim and adorable. So glad it's not clowns(brrrr). My very bad cat immediately tried to make off with the kitty one. I was mortified at the thought of him mangling it before I could even get a picture of it, lol. It was fine though. She also sent me some retro orange devil earrings, which I have been coveting on Pinterest and such for a really long time. So cool. And a handmade card, made with non-loose orange glitter paper that I would love to find here somewhere. Awesome! Thank you so much for the wonderful presents psyche! They will be front and center on my new Halloween shelf unit display!  Grin

I received 3 cards recently. First up, from vincentvanbuck, for my pinterest inspired anthropomorphic topic, the cinnamon bun head man, inside a cute envelope with WI on it:

Next up, from rockinbearranch for my board games topic, a homemade working(!) spirograph, and it says Minutes of Fun! rbr, you underestimate how easily I am entertained, lol. I love this, when I was little my favorite toy was the spirograph!

And last but not least, from dontneedaclassroom, for my honey and bees topic, a beautiful real dried flower mixed media card that I will probably frame, it's so pretty. Also she sent some random animal cards, which I love:

Here is a solo pic of the card, I am not sure why it keeps blurring, maybe because of the different textures? if dontneedaclassroom has a better shot, maybe she will post one. It's really a beautiful card:

I received from beefishie for my "regional slang" theme. She sent two different cards, both exactly what I was looking for. Here in WI, we have a ton of regional slang, which I had no idea were not said everywhere else until I was an adult. Some of the weirder ones:
Skeetching- the act of holding onto the back of a car on an icy day and riding along.
Choi or Choy- Excellent, a shortening of "choice".
Bubbler-Drinking fountain
Pop- Soda, coke, etc.
Crick-a creek

So here we have from beefishie for her area:

She is also a Nole, or Seminole, FLA State

From a Cheesehead to a Nole, thanks so much beefishie!

I received from several people this week, and sorry it has taken me a while to post the pics. We've had serious storm damage and power outages here. Thankfully, our house was spared any damages, but we've been helping the neighbors clean up. I am so tired I could sleep for a week!

Anywho, here are some fantastic cards that brightened my days.

From Oath Keeper, for my book covers theme. A book I have not read, and have put on my reading list. Bonus, it's a mermaid tail, awesome~and pretty.

Next from vincentvanbuck, we have a really soothing card for my "In a perfect world" theme, which is an earth with words background and the perfect world being one that "We'll all give thanks" in. The words are different languages of "thank you". It's very zen. And thank you to you both for the cards!

Love the children's drawings!

I received from Amaranth_in_Oz for my theme of "lock and key" and also from grapeicepop for my "regional slang" theme. I always find it serendipidous when I receive two unrelated cards with exact same coloring, that look like they go together. It's spooky!

From Amaranth:

And from grapeicepop(your user name just makes me want a popsicle, lol)

Spleeny: New England Slang- Peevish, irritable. With hypochondriac inclinations, ie: low tolerance for pain(especially cold).
