11  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: My Mom Rocks! on: April 12, 2011 07:01:19 PM
First of all, I LOVE the afghan Smiley

Second of all, my grandma was just asking me the other day if I knew where she could find that "Love Knit" yarn! Did your mom happen to have bought it recently?

Cozies for phones, mugs, or ipods are great tiny projects. I have two cats so I like to make little yarn mice or fish and stuff them with crinkly paper and catnip. A pair of wristers, legwarmers, or maybe a small clutch or purse are other smallish projects. Or you could always make a scrap blanket, there are quite a few on here that I've seen turn out beautifully.

Great choice on the colors! I don't have the patience for large projects like that, even baby blankets are hard for me to finish! Congrats Smiley

15  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Three Tunisian Crochet Blankets on: April 07, 2011 08:12:58 PM
SOOO pretty! I love the way tunisian crochet looks, after I master normal crocheting I definitely want to learn this. The Valentine-Colored one is very pretty, I know a friend of mine who would love the various shades of pink and red you used Smiley

Pretty! I love the colors you chose. I want to make myself one of these, but I've still got a round ripple and a spiral ahead on the list.
