21  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Ren & Stimpy on: September 10, 2012 05:48:42 PM
This is a 11x14 acrylic on canvas painting of one of my favorite childhood cartoons, Ren and Stimpy. As a huge geek and art fan Ive been drawling my favorite cartoons since i was a kid. But this was my first attempt at painting a cartoon, i like the way it turned out but it is way different than pencil and paper.

22  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Wood Burning: The Dark Mark on: September 10, 2012 05:36:45 PM
This is a 6x9 scrap piece of wood i hand cut and carved then burnt The Dark Mark from Harry Potter on. I drilled two holes and strung a piece of twine through to hang from. Its been hanging on the handle of my bedroom door since i finished.

Heres a close up of the burning, it looks really shiny in the picture but not to the eye.

23  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / 1931 Ford Coupe on: September 09, 2012 08:04:45 PM
This is a 24x18 acrylic on canvas painting of my grandfathers 31 Ford. Since his passing years ago the car has sat in a garage and started to rust away. This painting is a thoughtful look back at what was and a hope of what will be again someday.

24  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Iron Man on: September 09, 2012 07:41:07 PM
This is my first post on here, long time fan of all the work. This is a 11x14 acrylic on canvas painting of the Iron Man helmet. I used several movie screen grabs and comic scenes to put together a painting of my own.
