15  Braaaaains Zombie bite head bands in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Shelin20 on: April 26, 2012 08:08:50 AM
I know its been done but I wanted to add a more realistic twist, my history of stage make up came in handy. they are on acrylic plastic headbands with basic fabric glued on with fast drying craft glue. them painted with acrylic paint. then a layer of paint made to add dimension to fabric, then more paint. then 3d gel gloss enamel for the blood.

finished product close up
the two of them together

and pre blood

What does everyone think any comments are appreciated good or bad
thanks for looking.

16  bracelet and headband display for almost free in Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs by Shelin20 on: April 24, 2012 11:32:10 AM

It consists of a box that came from ordering beads a paper towel roll (from a roll fo paper towels I got for free in a product test group) and a divider for a makeup box I've had for years that I still had yet to figure out why it would be needed. It comes apart for easy storage. I'm still working on cleaning up the corners where the x attaches let me know what you think.
I think this would be perfect for shows plus the box still opens so you could weight it for windy days
happy crafting Smiley

17  middle of the tie remnants in What the heck can I do with THIS? by Shelin20 on: April 24, 2012 07:39:13 AM

I've already made hair bows, bracelets (two kinds) necklaces and pouches and I have like thirty of these parts of a tie I never ever throw things away (I'm a bit of a hoarder but aren't we all) so I really want to come up with something new to do with these or heck even someone else that needs them
thanks in advanced
Steph
