Hi fellow craftsters,

I found a lovely kitchen cupboard that looks something like this:

I really want to repaint it, some paint is already scratched off and the colour is just too grannylike..
My question is, do I really need to scrape the paint off entirely or would it be enough to roughen it a little so that the new paint doesn't peel off.

Did anyone try this before?  I'd love to hear of your experiences!
