Very cute!!!  Cheesy Cheesy

That does sounds like locks!! Any fiber can be needle felted or wet felted - really depends on what you are doing and what you are making. Curly locks are very good for doing hair on human figures or fleece on sheep - there are lots of possibilities! =^..^=

Thanks so much!!! =^..^=  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I can try to get a photo of it on me, but I don't have anyone else here that could wear it. It's about 8.5" long and 2.5" wide.

Thanks Ken!!!  Cheesy Cheesy =^..^=

I ended up having to replace the turquoise nugget beads I had used for the loop/button clasp as they didn't make for a secure clasp. I used some white heishi beads that worked much better!!

I get my needles from here:

I don't believe they have a 36star - they do have a 38star which is one of my favorites.

I like the fact that the barbs are always positioned close to the point (which isn't true on all needles). Over the years I have purchased needles from a variety of sources and found that there is a great variety in the quality of needles and placement of barbs.

Star needles have the advantage of having four edges per blade. That's 8 barbs on a star needle as compared to 6 barbs on triangular needles. (but not all needles have 2 barbs per edge)

Belladune - how do you hold your needles?? The further away from the point that you hold your needles increases the possibility that you will break needles.
