1  Re: ~Wish Swap Gallery~ in The Swap Gallery by SKN725 on: June 05, 2005 10:34:09 AM
My wish swap partner Lucertola is from Italy and so it took awhile to get her packages. Yes, packages with an (S).  Because she was not satisfied with one item she sent, she decided to send a second package. She is proof that we are our own worst critics because I thoughrt EVERYTHING was beautiful.  Her craftsmanship is excellant, and I can only imagine how many hours she spent making these lovely things for me. I am overwhelmed!!The first package which I actually received last (who can explain the mails of two countries, customs, etc.)contained a large rectangular bag in my favorite shade of red, a very pretty blue/green drawstring bag, and a sweet little bag  in all the warm colors that I love just the right size for my wallet and the all important checkbook.  She also included in this package a whole pile of cute little earrings, a hair clip, and even a notepad for my frig.
But, like I said she wasn't happy with all of that so she sent another package containing a very sturdy round bottom brown bag, a neat little beanie hat which I will be so happy to have in the fall, a summer top, and and another little tiny bag.  My wish, since I neither knit nor crochet, was for a knitted or crocheted bag.  I did not expect an entire wardrobe of them!!  Lucertola, you have way more than fulfilled my wish.  Thank you so very, very much.
