Up until recently I only sewed using patterns.  However, I understand your concern.  Sometimes patterned clothing doesn't actually fit right so you have to make tons of adjustments!

I love the apron you made; it is so cute!  And your mom looks cute in it!

I love the color!  Dyeing clothes is one of my favorite modifications.  It is amazing how much the color can change the looks.
