1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Oversized Dress to Mummy-Baby Bag :) (( 1st Sewing Project )) on: February 02, 2011 12:16:03 PM

I have only just starting sewing and I managed to borrow a sewing machine from my next door nieghbour ... After a few days of hesitaition and You Tube 'in to try and find out how to load the machine ( I get very confused easily ) I have completed my 1st sewing project ..

I used a dress of mine that I had bought in sales ( without trying it on !! ) BUT it was too big for me  I was going to make it into a skirt but I LUSH bags so thought this would be an easier project for my first time !!

Okay so my stitching isn't amazing but it was my first time and I am v v nervous about sewing my fingers

Here's the results ;

BEFORE :: ( I cut the dress up first then remembered I wanted a 'before' shoot so it's been placed back together LOL )

Thankyou y'all for looking  Cheesy x

3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Cute Pixie Shoes ( 1st Timer ) X on: January 20, 2011 12:50:19 PM
Hiya , I'm new to this forum Cheesy

I went out the other night in Fancy Dress for my b'day ... I don't get out much as I have 4 beeeeeeautiful daughters ( I call them Pixies ) under 6 soOo I made the other night an awesome night never to forget .. Here are the shoes I wore :

I made these by customising a pair of purple-blue low heeled shoes that cost 6.99 in the sale and I used some glitter stickers that cost 1.00 ( I actually raided my Pixies craft box ... ) ... You can tell I've worn them around town and a few stickers have fallen off but I thought I'd share with you all ....
PS That's my bunny , Milkshake .. she's a poser as well as a shoe lover Cheesy x

Hope ya'll like them Grin They aren't bad for my FIRST time in shoe customisation X
