1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / I need alittle help with weight gaining recipes. (please don't flame me..) on: March 08, 2011 02:57:41 PM
My mate is almost 25, 5ft 7in,.. and 90 pounds..  We have been trying for the last seven years trying to get him to be a healthy weight but it seems almost impossible even with him eating almost 3000 cals a day.. He doesn't move around alot.. he doesn't have the energy most of the time to keep himself awake and we been to the doctor over and over again and they can't find anything wrong and no meds are helping him gain weight.  I been asking around and all I get is flamed for wanting to help my mate..  Hes at the point where eating alot will only make him sick so I'm looking for something that in truth can trick his tummy.

I'm just looking for a good meal type of recipes.  He barely eats sweets and we both don't drink, so mostly it needs to be something fattening.  Even tips will help but I would like to cook something to put in the fridge or freezer so he has something to eat when I'm traveling for work.

I'm already putting sneaking in cal powder in most of his food to keep him at 90.  I know it sounds bad that I'm sneaking but I think it the placebo effect, if I tell him he thinks it will be heavy and eat less, since I stop telling him hes been having no trouble and keeping weight.

Thank you for reading.
