1161  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Doctor Who Swap round 6 (SIGNUP 4/8/11 - 4/23/11; SENDOUT 5/23/11) on: April 27, 2011 02:35:06 AM
Lovely crafting day, today Roll Eyes . Tried 2 new things (smalls) and both are crash & burn. One looks fine but is going to fall apart instantly, lol. The other I dropped the supplies on the floor and most of them rolled away into a black hole. I have the supplies for the large now, though, so its not all bad.

Oh you have a vortex under your couch too?

Wow, you have some crazy talent. Everything looks so perfect. Those pins look like you used a mold on them.

The ______ on the _____ is proving to be more time consuming than I thought, but progress is being made! Smiley

Almost burned myself on the iron, though. Tongue Luckily I didn't but it was a close one...

All these blanks are making me sooo excited!

PS- I swear irons have a conspiracy going against craft projects, the only time I ever burn myself is if I'm crafting, I can iron an entire wordrobe and be fine but the second I bust out a project I always end up burning myself. My friend's the same way too.

Fantasticly clever!
I hope you dont mind if I borrow a version of your idea for a person I look after, they would love it!

Go ahead, that's why I put it up here. I think this is such a fun idea to do for any show or movie. I'm especially thinking of doing up a Harry Potter set and a Star Wars set (yeah if you can't tell, I'm a huge nerd  Tongue ) and I'm definately going to be making up some different versions next time I have my neices over for a movie night.

WOW that is freaking amazing! What did you use to make the parts for the Dalek? and what did you use for the pins? They're so detailed. Everything looks awsome.

Awww, I would have liked to seen that. I also hate how we miss out on the Doctor Who Confidentials after the episodes. I don't know what the website was but I ended up torrenting all the episodes last season and the quality was actually really good. Like I was re-watching them last week in preparation for the new season and I couldn't believe how good they were. So no I'm on a mission to try and find that website again so I can download this season too. Cuz they always end up cutting out like 5-10 minutes of the show when they play them here and it drives me crazy. But if I find a good site I'll let you know.

Oooohhhhh, now I'm getting so many more ideas in my head with those tarrot pics. Ugh I can't wait till I'm all rich and eccentric and can spend all my time making rediculous crafts for no reason.

I seriously had a dream about the weeping angels last night except they all looked like your amigurumi angel.

noooitaremybirthday your craft blog is fab!

 Cheesy Thank you, Wax!!

ivory1632 - Here's what the swap rules say about doing multiple swaps:
"If you have never swapped on Craftster before, you may only sign up for ONE swap to start out with. When you complete that swap and get Positive Feedback, you may sign up for up to FIVE at a time."

Hope that helped! Feel better from your cold!

Awsome! Thanks. I already recieved positive feedback from my first swap, so yay I can do this one too. I'll fill out my questionare later.
And I'm feeling a bit better, the thing with this cold/massive allergy attack is that I'm not too bad during the day, its just at night my head stuffs up and I start coughing so I can't sleep and end up wondering around online all night. But some good came of it cuz I found this swap  Wink

Got most (hopefully all) of my supplies last night. Still messing around with the details of how I want everything. The design I wanted to use for the ______ didn't come out looking right so I had to start over but I think its actually going to end up looking better this way.
