I love the textures, it's like a 3-D watercolor painting

I wasn't really sure where to post this, but I guess it's a houseware?

I've known for a while that I've needed a pin, when I sat on a cartoonishly large embroidery needle (fortunately, I've got enough padding in the ass region that it didn't do too much damage), I decided it was time to finally make one. I grabbed the flower pot that has been sitting empty since my orchid died, some poly batting from a pillow my dog chewed up, some felt, some felt scraps and a headless doll and I came up with this:

I originally had a felt gravestone, but it sort of just looked like Marge Simpson had been buried up to her hair.

You know, I've always wondered why Zombies always pushed their hands up first. Why was it never a head or a foot?

I always figured they needed to dig their way out with their hands.

Initially, this started out to be a regular zombie piece, but I wanted to make it a little more... Spring.

Also, I was going to do the grass in actual Easter grass, but oddly enough, that's not so easy to embroidery with - who knew?
