11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: scarves for me on: May 19, 2012 09:09:24 AM
Jenn! Look how tiny I was back then! Wah! Anyway, yes there really isn't a need for scarves down here, but I've still got a ton of the green ribbon yarn left if you want one of these scarves. wink wink.
12  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Her and me make 3 collage on: May 19, 2012 09:07:28 AM
These I glue-sticked to some cardboard I had lying around. But yeah, just play like you're editing a newspaper, move all the things around until you get them looking pleasing to the eye, then glue down. I wrapped these in clear storage tape as a laminate. I'll start collecting magazines again and we can have a collaging party one of these days.
13  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: penguin diorama on: May 19, 2012 08:55:14 AM
Thanks for the compliment Jenn! But sadly his head popped off in one of my car crashes and got a crack in it. He's sitting all tilty on one of my bookshelves now. Still got his little hat though. I've found that what's helped me out the most taking good pictures is A) knowing your camera very well (ie - learning all that confusing photography lingo) and B) taking lots and lots of pictures. It's statistics really. The more you take the more likely you are to have at least one that will work.

Great job! It really is a clone.
15  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Pegboard of awesomeness on: August 03, 2011 04:59:20 PM
Do it! It's been up for a month now and I still can't get over how much of a handy organizational tool it is. I'm never not having one now. Thanks for looking everyone! And I squee'd out loud in joy when I saw I made the 'Spiffy Spaces' page. Brightened up a mostly sour day for me.

Thank you! The pegboard was key in getting organized here. I can't stand it when I can't see everything. I'm an "out of sight, out of mind" sort, so having everything visible (or well labeled) helps bunches. And it sounds like you're the same way - here's hoping you get the space soon.

18  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Nerdfighter Cake! on: July 14, 2011 09:55:41 PM
Thanks! I think I'll do a puppy-sized elephant on my next one, when I can find my decorating tips.

Thanks! It makes me happy to look at it too. And, yes, symmetry is something I strive for in decorating. I've found color is very helpful in that regard.
20  COOKING / Dessert / Nerdfighter Cake! on: July 14, 2011 09:15:49 PM
I don't know if there are any fellow nerdfighters on craftster, but if there are - Hi!. You know what this means:

If you don't know what that means, but would like to find out, go here -

The cake was delicious - it was butter cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. Tasted like butterscotch, weirdly.

Best wishes!
