Holy cow, pretty sure mine are are right there at the top..  Grin

I received TWO amazing snarky ornaments from Griminspirations.  I honestly can't decide which I like more - they're both pretty epic.  Check it out!

The front - all innocent looking and adorable...  I am in love with the mini ninnis... <3  :swoon:

With all the snark just waiting to be discovered (kitty sticker positioned to keep it safe for all ages  Grin)

3  Re: Holiday Altered + Mystery Matchboxes 2017 - Gallery in The Swap Gallery by cabaute on: December 04, 2017 10:25:49 PM
I received THREE adorable matchboxes today from Onyxnox!

I love the delicate poinsettia the most; the petals are a delicate vellum - like texture.
The wintry scene is beautifully detailed, and the snowflake is so elegant.  They're a gorgeous ensemble. And, all three were chock full of adorable goodies!

Lots of paper ephemera, which is one of my very favorite things Smiley
Adorable fish and mustache paper clips, including different styles of mustache  Smiley
Adorable tiny Christmas light beads  Smiley
The cutest little festive wintry animals  Smiley

So much awesome!

5  Re: No Fail Fudge - No Holiday Can Happen Without It! in Cooking: Challenge Entries by cabaute on: November 22, 2017 10:20:41 AM
It's actually evaporated milk. The sweetened condensed milk will likely work, but it may turn out too sweet. I will update the recipe. I have it written both ways in several places. Good luck.

So... DON'T use sweetened condensed milk.  The texture was like gritty thick paste and waaay too sweet.   Undecided

I had just enough of everything left (plus a can of evaporated milk in the pantry) to make a batch the right way - night & day difference!
The new & improved one is YUM! Cheesy

6  Re: HAPPY MAIL #3 - BRING the HAPPY GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by cabaute on: November 13, 2017 05:13:40 PM
Oh my heavens.  I got so far behind and now I'm afraid I will miss someone / something if I try to catch up.  This whole gallery is full of WOW.

Here is my attempt to get caught up - if I passed someone please know it is not intentional... Every single swap package I've seen had a few drool-worthy items.
greybird - the little kits are brilliant!
elliot_anne - I love your food theme going throughout - really cute stuff!!!
Onyxnox - those snowmen are fantastic.  Smiley
smmart - I love the techniques I can see in your work - such pretty colors
calixita - holy cow that folder is amazing.  So clever!!  And the goodies inside are fab
StudioANF - I love the organic look of the items you sent, really nice, and I love the tiny mushrooms
loves2experiment - that mug rug... HEART!!!!!
geekgirl1000100 - your envelope is almost as amazing as the stuff inside, wow!
curiousfae - I love the writing techniques on those bookmarks - I'm super jealous of your skills on those!
kbrison - I love the techniques you used and the gorgeous little ATC with perfect quote
SunnyDawn - your buntings are adorable
thanate - I want that (Kali-like) paper doll!!!
tapestrymlp - Ok seriously you need to start selling your artwork (if you're not already).  You are amazingly talented and that ATC... just... wow.  I love it.
Mlsocci74 - pretty little feathers and I love the twine add-in!

Whew...  I hope that caught me up?  Eeek I hope I didn't miss any  After all that, prepare to check out the awesomeness I received today from Wulf!

The outside of the envelope - hand made from nice craft paper with a gorgeous owl (owl post!  Cheesy)

This handmade book is so impeccably made and fun.  I took soooo many pictures but still didn't even capture everything - it is gorgeous.  There are a couple of fun hiding spots, and a nice spot in the back to stash extra decorations and items to add.  LOVE.

A tiny notepad that even has the serration so that you can tear out individual pages if needed
Moons!  <3
Moons!  <3

Oh my gosh another animal group name ATC... This artwork is out of this world:

A fun bunch of extras including some super delicate origami stars

An adorable TinTin (more correctly, TinTin's dog, Snowy) magnet - WOW this artwork is on point!!

And a perfect match to my sweet Wire Fox Terrier Emma!!!

Thank you SO MUCH, Wulf - this was truly happy mail.

7  Re: Inchie House October Swap 2017 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by cabaute on: November 07, 2017 09:54:42 AM
I'm at work so I'm trying to do this sneaky fast... My home computer has been down for the count (we're replacing it but the new one isn't ready / fully hooked up yet) and posting pics from my phone is always problematic.

BEHOLD!  The adorable Hansel & Gretel house I received from fluffypants!   Cheesy  Be sure to check out the little witch peeking out the window...

I love it so very much, and am super impressed by the artistry.  SO PERFECT.

Oh wow, I somehow missed the gallery until I was coming over to add my amazing package received from tapestrymlp... And to be honest I'm sort of glad.  I always have super terrible swap anxiety, this time was just as bad as ever, particularly when it is so open ended and I'm not exactly certain what I'm supposed to be sending.  In the end I sort of ran out of time and just packaged up everything that was done.  Now I'm wishing I had been able to fit a bit more in.   Undecided  This package was so extensive, beautifully personalized, and artistic... Just - wow.

Drumroll, please... Check out the amazing package I received today...
Adorable envelope:

The whole set:

An ADORABLE Wire Fox Terrier portrait (I have a Wire Fox Terrier, so this is so perfect!!)

Beautiful prayer flag - I love the colors, the layering, the careful, beautiful hand stitching, and use of materials!!

The cutest hand-drawn stickers!

A delicate butterfly canvas:

The cutest card:

A bit of sparkly yarn:

And SOOO MUCH ephemera!  Stickers, details, slick portraits...  Wow.

Tapestrymlp... I'm honestly overwhelmed.  Thank you so much!!!

Been so heads down for the happy mail swap I kept forgetting to take pics of my adorable inchie house!

May I present my lovely moon house from Aluraceleste!

I really adore the little moon detail on the roof, and the moon charm on the side Smiley

Thank you so much, Aluraceleste!

10  Re: Sweat Shoppe ORNAMENT Swap Round 8 (finished crafting 11/17, send by 11/20) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by cabaute on: October 26, 2017 12:52:38 PM
It looks good to me... so, this being my first sweat shoppe swap.. what do I do now?

:)We wait now in case there are any errors, then GatorWrangler will give the final approval to the list. When the list is finalized you may contact the people you are sending an ornament to for their address. Then once you have finished crafting contact GatorWrangler are she will make you name green on the front page. Once your name is green you are allowed to start sending to other people that have finished crafting and are green.

Ah!  So mine are done but my name is not green yet, so just putting that down to be sure it is clear for when we get ready to start.  I wasn't sure whether it was important or not.  I guess also if people prefer a specific color I might need to make more?  But I'd planned on randomly sending the ones that are done unless someone has a strong preference.  Is it OK if I send each person an extra ornament?  I made a bunch of snowflakes that need homes.  Don't want to get pulled over by swap police though!   Grin

(Those darker parts are silvery sparkles, FWIW).
