11  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Embroidery Hoopla Rnd 12 - SEASONS - send by Oct 15/14 on: September 27, 2014 12:11:19 PM
I have a design picked out but am stalling on getting the pattern onto the fabric. That is always the hardest part for me. What is y'all's favorite method of transferring patterns onto fabric?

I use carbon paper to trace the designs onto the fabric. Unfortunately I haven't figured out a way to transfer onto dark fabric yet.

19  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Wilderness Explorers hoop on: September 16, 2014 03:00:18 PM
I made this hoop for Elameno for the Disney swap. She loves the little Wilderness Explorer boy in the movie Up! and so I created this hoop based on the patch on his uniform. I used felt and embroidery floss. I also had a little bit of ribbon with trees on it so I thought that would be a cute touch as the hanger.

Thanks for looking!
20  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / It's a Small World magnet on: September 16, 2014 02:56:16 PM
I made this magnet for Elameno in the Disney swap. She loves the art of Mary Blair who designed the concept art for the It's a Small World ride. I used Sharpie and colored pencils on Shrinky Dink plastic.
