In between college work i've gone back to my polymer charm making, quite enjoying a change of scene!.
Decided to go down the route of making my own molds too!, helped made some nice precise and even charmies. Considering They've been uber popular among my pals and family, what do you guys think?

Dying to make more, just no time at the moment!.
Any suggestions or requests?, Or even any crits or tips?

As i don't update on here often, more of my crafty goodness can be found regularly on my facebook art/craft profile

32  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Tattoo Designs - Marked for life! on: January 04, 2012 10:43:56 AM
So my friend recently sprung on me to draw a tattoo for her..for the next day.
Whipped this up in about an hour
Design doodled by me
Tattooed: Johnnys Tattoo Studio (Glasgow)

Bit of a beast for her first tattoo!
But she loved it, and the tattooist didn't change much of my design at all and was apparently very impressed.
So i'm chuffed Smiley

Awaiting colouring!
Whatchas think?

This is my second design that has also been inked, a wee twist on the common sparrow tattoos, tried to give it a bit more of a stylised appearance, away for the typical nautical themes.

More of my work can be found on my Facebook art/craft profile, if anyone is interested. As not all of it is posted here.
Hopefully going to have the beginning sof a wee tattoo design folio ^__^

So i created this from Newspaper, Blackbags, VHS tape and ringpulls
A more detailed description of how i did this/what ideas spurred it on can be found on my blog (Compulsory for my course, few pages worth of reading..).

34  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Too sexy for my shirt. Lace and silk babydoll/chemise on: September 30, 2011 10:24:04 AM
So i've been looking for a nice lingerie set, but found that they're all a tad out of my budget or not to my taste.
So after scouring the internet, and finding a lovely outfit unfortunately from China (Wasn't risking it not fitting then having to fight the post office to return it).
I doodled up a quick design from the photo i'd seen, altered it slightly to my taste, ordered in some Silk, Lace and elastic, Sewed it all together
(No shop bought pattern used!, drafted it myself from scratch, Alot of just luck and crossed fingers!).
The result, This!

Got to admit i'm very please, especially considering i've never worked with lace before.

Whatchas think?

Edit: Thank You so much for the lovely comments, now feel i've got the confidence to try create a few more pieces, even purely my own designs Cheesy.
More coming soon!

More of my work can be found on my facebook if anyone is interested in snooping as not all of it is here on craftster :\

36  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Tartan Mini Kilt on: June 02, 2011 01:56:43 AM
I wanted a tartan skirt, therefore i made one.
I now feel truly Scottish haha. Even if it is the Stewart Tartan and not mines..
Smiley I'm pretty proud off this actually.
1st real attempt at pleats and it went rather swell, close ups of button and hem etc, needle is now removed forgot to take it before photo.
 >_< It closes with poppers now.
No pattern was used, just alot of crossed fingers.

Lemme' know whatcha' think Smiley

37  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Recycled Newspaper Corset on: June 02, 2011 01:27:54 AM
Hiya guys Smiley
This is a corset made out of collaged recycled newspaper, for my Art Degree class, "Integrated Project", The Natural World.
I constructed my own "Fabric" and used no pattern.
It doesnt completely fit..But oh well, wasnt really meant to be worn.
This is a bit rushed, i'll finish later.
Tell me what you think Smiley

The ties are made out of braided black bag strips.

Here is it laid flat to show the shape.

Here is another recycled work i made;
It's a sculpture made from fused crisp packets

Another one of my recycled works can be found here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=381972.0

38  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Crisp Packets to Dainty Sculpture - Recycling on: June 02, 2011 01:27:12 AM
Hiya guys Smiley
This is a corset made out of collaged recycled newspaper, for my Art Degree class, "Integrated Project", The Natural World.
This is made from fused crisp packets, cut into the shape of various leaves, with a wire strip glue gunned down the center of each to allow shape, and each glue gunned onto a wire spiral. In a plant pot filled with newspaper.

I think it's quite cute, could be used as a ornament...or a cat toy or something..
I duno', lemme' know what ya' think Smiley
