11  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / work in progress: the newspaper dress on: October 06, 2011 08:34:02 AM
Haaai Everybody,

Here's a little sneak peak of the dress I'm working on, a newspaper dress. It is not done yet, the skirt isn't completely finished and I have to add a zipper in the back. I'm also still thinking about making it more poof, but we will see that later on.

I will post some new photo's when its finished and wearable (at least that is the plan)

the dress in total, you can still see the needles though ^^

Some detailing from the top

And some detailing of the bottom dress

It's all glued together by the way. I hope you all like it, at least i do Tongue

16  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / strapless christmas dress on: December 28, 2010 06:00:50 AM
Here's a dress a made for myself for christmas. I used black cotton/polyester and black satin for one layer of the dress and the 'belt'.
First I wanted to make a tree with the satin and make one of the branches over the shoulder, but I decided not to do it. I liked it better simple. there's a zipper in the back by the way.

I made my own patterns, based on a dress I had made before.

Hope u like it!
