Thanks, Diane

5  Disney Lola Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by dfabbric on: July 14, 2018 11:45:41 AM

I am in love with this Lola purse I made. It's my first time using cork and I was surprised at how easy it is. I wasn't sure about the colours, but nothing else quite worked and I didn't want to use black, since it would be so dark. But I think it came together well in the end.

7  Hobbit Celine Purse BOM in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by dfabbric on: April 30, 2018 01:41:10 PM

I made this Hobbit Middle Earth purse for the Bag of the month club. The Celine pattern was April's. I wanted to make a full woven cotton purse this time (no vinyl). I love argyle and the faux knit look of the accent fabric, it just seemed to match the theme so well. I used the same fabric as the lining and there is a pocket inside as well as the pocket on the front. I did a fussy cut on the front so that the pieces lined up perfect, or mostly so, lol. This was a lot of fun, but next time I think I will change the handles a bit, they felt a bit short.

8  Disney Princess Shoes Lola Handbag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by dfabbric on: April 30, 2018 01:31:48 PM

I made this Lola with a Cotton Lycra knit fabric. It was my first time trying this (pattern and stretchy knit fabrics on a purse) and it came together nicely. I really love the size and style of this purse as well. The inside is blue Disney Cameo fabric and I added gem rivets to the handles after I sewed them down.

9  Not my monkeys Summit Sling Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by dfabbric on: April 30, 2018 01:26:35 PM

I love this bag that I made. I had the design embroidered (from Urban Threads) and didn't know what to do with it. Then I saw this pattern. It all came together amazingly well and was quite easy. Inside is a mix of Red and white circus tent stripes and monkey fabric.
Inside the front pocket there is also card slots. I am very happy with the end result.
Thanks for looking.

10  Floral Wars Speedwell in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by dfabbric on: April 30, 2018 01:20:55 PM

I made this Blue Calla Speedwell.
It was fun to make, but the glitter vinyl was challenging, not my favourite. This was my first cut into this polkadot Floral wars and I really like how it turned out and will make this pattern again.
