Finally found it! Cheesy

Ok, so today = best birthday ever  Grin Today I turn 24, and I also recieved from Silver Ilix! She picked me for a heatable bag, but also added a surprise bonus! The brightest teal, softest knit shawl~

Wow, how I wish you could send scent through the internet... it's smells like heaven! This is something I've been wanting for so long, but I dont have a sewing machine that works well, nor the skills to use one... So I've been really excited to recive it since she picked me~

The added bonus! You guys will have to forgive the mirror pic, no one is home at the moment to take one for me... it is truely amazing! Hopefully I'll have some better pics to post in a few hours~

I just cant stop smiling... Thank you so much Holly!

Alrighty, here's my update XD

Day 6

Two bracelets + three strands each = 6! Yay math!

Day 5

Probably my favorite day! A tea ball and samples of five teas! Oh, I was so thrilled to open this one, I used to have a tea ball just like this but one of my old roomates stole it when they moved... But now I have another!

Day 4

4 perler bead coasters with skulls and Mario mushrooms! What's funny is I made my partner coasters for day 4 as well~

Day 3

Gelly Roll pens <33333333 I love these kind of pens so much, I have a special pencil box just for my Sakura/Gelly Roll pens  Lips sealed

Day 2
No image yet, but I recieved two hand painted shirts- A black one with white wings painted on the back, and a red one that... I haven't figured out yet  Huh Does it say love, devilninny? I think it does, but I'm not quite sure XD

devilninny pm'd me to tell me that my day one didn't come out as cool as she had planned, but I love it  Kiss She made a shrine?/box about Capricorn, my zodiac, and an awesome Capricorn polymer sculpture!

One of his horns broke in transit, but once I find some glue he'll be fixed up in a jiffy Wink

THANK YOU SO MUCH devilninny!

5  "28:6:42:12" Frank The Bunny in Halloween Costumes by emiko on: November 02, 2006 11:15:58 PM
The boyfriend decided to be Frank the bunny from Donnie Darko this year... at about 9:00pm of the 27th. We had to have the costume done by, well, the evening of the 28th for a club we work for... And somehow the costume actually managed to be finished in time! Amazing!

This is the only in-progress shot we have: the mask was constructed of a plain ol' domino mask from party city, duct tape, aluminum foil, and some paint.

Then the outfit... We hunted and searched all over the city for grey fake fur but couldn't find any within budget or enough of it in one place, so fleece was used instead, and probably for the best, since he was burning up in it already (and really, probably a lot more comfortable to wear then the fur might have been)

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a better, full-body shot of the outfit... Stay tuned!

I only have pics of the cupcake... I forgot to take any of the cozy  Cry

I made piratecore a needlefelted cupcake to be used as a pincushion Cheesy on her wist list there was a cupcake cushion made from reclaimed fulled wool, but I didn't have access to those things so...

prepare to be amazed kiddos, I received the most awesome of awesome things today from SewingLori  Grin Indeed... so awesome I could cry... She made me a scarf inspired by this one on my Wists: http://www.pluckyfluff.com/tropicana.html

except mine is way cooler because it's not 5 zillion colors <3

Terrible action shot!

But what makes this scarf so awesome:

And flowers are stuck in here and there!

And then there's all this awesome yarn that I can't stop touching, lol... Lori, I LOVE IT! Thank you soooooo much! All the colors are perfect for this autumn... I dont think I'll leave my house without it Cheesy

piratecore, I'm told your cupcake is on it's way to you, but I have to wait 'til the boy get's home to give the DC#  Roll Eyes

Heh, here are the rest... Sadly no really awesome photos, but hey, I'll take what I can get!

Finished Captain Hook... I ran out of time on him and couldn't make him afull standup... Had I been able to, he would have been 8' tall as well *dies*

The Queen of Hearts and of the bushes... We bought fake white flowers from the dollar store and I spray painted some of them red and gave a drippy look as well. Sadly I didn't get a photo of the other bush, which of course was a million times cooler. Sorry it looks funny, we had to take the picture at an angle..

Usula again in action. We found a knock-off Ariel stuffie at the dollar store and worked her in Wink

Scar! He's probably my favorite~

And my friend Stephaine, who by far had the best outfit Smiley She made it herself in like, two days :O

Phew, the weekend is really over? Thank goodness! The boyfriend helped outand made Ursula and the Queen of Hearts while I finished up Hook and Scar and the bushes... We had to nix Jafar and Maleficent due to time/energy contrainsts :/

I haven't gotten all the pics yet, but here is Ursula. Let's play 'Spot The Sharpie for Size Reference!'

We brought her back home, but have nowhere for a 8-foot-tall posterboard octopus  Cool

You all are brilliant!

I've decided for the dance area to make a (giant, hopefully) flat-dragon Maleficent to hang from a wall, and some vines to hang from the ceiling.

For the dungeon, we're going with the Red Queen- another cutout for her, then we're also making cut-out bushes with fake flowers we're painting red...

Anyway, I do promise pictures when I get it all done and set up... for now, here's my Captain Hook work-in-progress:

Rather life-size, you can see my Sharpie in there... This version of Hook is based on the Disney Hero's toy collection, where they made him look super cool!
