1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Criminal Minds Swap Anyone?? on: March 28, 2011 10:03:44 PM

Would anyone be interested in joining a Criminal Minds swap? I'm only 17 but I'd be willing to help organize things with someone if they were willing to run it.
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Fairytale Swap on: March 08, 2011 05:50:11 AM
I'm only 17 so I wouldn't be able to run it, although I would be more than willing to help, but I was wondering if anyone is interested in helping run and/or participating in a fairytale swap?

I'm not 18 yet so I couldn't do it on my own but would anyone be willing to help me run a Gilmore Girls swap?
4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / Where To Find Things To Recycle / Etsy Whimsies? on: January 02, 2011 02:17:18 AM
Hey, I was wondering if anyone had an idea of a good Etsy story for getting found whimsies, such as old game pieces, skeleton keys, etc. I know some people sell them but my laptop crashed recently and I lost all my bookmarks.
5  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Make a Child Smile on: January 01, 2011 09:50:18 PM
I've been suffering with a nerve condition called RSD for almost three years now, and through out that time I've been in many children's hospitals, and even stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland for up to three months at a time and I can't begin to explain how it's affected my life. I've met so many kids fighting cancer, waiting for organs, and dealing with things that no child should ever have to. All of this got me started on looking for ways to give back, and one of the best organizations I've found is Make a Child Smile. People make and send cards and small gifts to sick kids all over the country to, as the name says, make them smile. Take it from someone who knows, something as small as a card from a stranger can be enough to brighten a sick child's day.
6  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Has anyone tried...? on: January 01, 2011 09:33:58 PM
I'm making my cousin a stuffed felt monster, but he has really sensitive allergies and I don't want to risk using pollyfill and getting him sick. Has anyone ever tried using shredded cloth (suck as old clothing) for stuffing, and if so how was the outcome? Also, if anyone else has any other suggestions for what else I can use.
