Sounds like a great idea! I also love the functional/wearable/fun items idea. Can't wait!

245  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Penny Arcade Pacman Shirt on: July 15, 2005 04:59:14 PM
This is basically just adding orange sleeves to a yellow shirt and stencilling a pacman, but here's Gabe's shirt from Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/):

246  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ziploc Doodad Swap Gallery on: July 13, 2005 02:32:52 PM
No, actually, that's treats for my guinea pig, Pukum  Grin. Balloons would be a cool idea though!

I got my package from rebecky yesterday!! Here's what was in it:

And my personal favorite:

I'm not sure what the red thing on the duck's head is, but it sure is cute  Grin. The multicolored things in the bag from the first picture are treats for my guinea pig, Pukum. Confession time: I had to try one, and no, they aren't very "tasty" as the package claims. Cardboardy. But I looove my doodads, especially the buttons! Thank you!
248  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Because Vader is a Ladies' Man on: July 12, 2005 01:56:10 PM

The Vader stencil is from http://grrl.com/starwarsstuff.html, and I know I've seen the arm-tying idea somewhere, so this top isn't really my design, but I needed a pink Darth  Tongue. I'm thinking of outlining the stencil in hot pink puff paint. Hope you like!
249  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Mindless Self Indulgence Hoodie with Insane Mohawk on: July 11, 2005 08:52:24 AM
Haha, thanks guys! Who knew there were so many MSI fans lurking around? If you're curious, here's what the full mohawk looks like, before and after turning it inside-out:

Wanna be, wanna be, wanna be, PRETTY!
250  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Mindless Self Indulgence Hoodie with Insane Mohawk on: July 10, 2005 01:03:40 PM
OK, get ready for a swift kick to the fashion sense! The front:

The back:

And the grande finale, the mohawk (forgive my vacant expression):

The back says "One of these shapes is not like the others," which is a line from the Mindless Self Indulgence song Unsociable. It's much easier to read in real life...for some reason it came out blotchier than it is in the picture. The mohawk was inspired by the Dino Hoodie (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=19651.0) and made in basically the same way. It goes all the way down the hood in alternating pink and purple sparkly fur, which I got for free from distinctivefabric.com. It only takes two free swatches of each color. The original hoodie was only $8.00 at Kohl's, and it had a Hawaiian flower on the front that I covered with "MSI." Hope you like it, or at least get a laugh out of it!
