Ok. tonight I got a bottle of water. The lids were clear and i thought. hmm. thats nifty. well then i thought to myself "self, I can do something with these" and self says "what?"

well, thats my dilema

Uh...well. My mom uses those to hold quarters for vending machines. You know so she doesn't have to dig through her wallet to find change. I know. It isn't really a craft, but it's useful.

Sweet! That has got to be the coolest tie I have ever seen. My friend is going to teach me how to make chain mail, but alas, I shall have to start off with something simple. Would you say you have to be "experienced" in this craft to make the tie?

Aw. That's really cute. I bought an 80's prom dress at a thrift store a couple of months ago for about $6.50. It's in great condition and this project has inspired me to do something with it. I'll try and post a picture later.
