Thank you all for your response!
Yes it's Jim Halpert from the Office, I was worried it didn't really look like him, but you guys guessed it anway.
Gold Stars for all you awesome people.

There's no way that's not Jim, awesome. You have to do Dwight now. Smiley
Heh, I hope to do several Office characters, and Dwight is definitely at the top of that list.

Oh, you watch Asian Films too?  I think that is what Memento Mori is?  Isn't, it a scary movie?  If, not, my bad, the title just sounds familiar.  I like your drawing techniques, you got a style of your own, even if it is skinny people, lol, no offense to skinny people, I just like drawing half the time with people with meat on their bodies, lol.
Actually, I don't watch Asian films, sorry! The characters are actually from A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Memento Mori [Remember you will die] is the motto for the boarding school in book five, The Austere Acadamy.
As to the people being skinny, I actually used to draw them a little bit stockier, but I liked the elegance of length. Because they got taller, they also got skinnier, though I'm trying to remedy that situation.

Again, Thank you craftsters!

Memento Mori
[Isadora and Duncan Quagmire (c) Lemony Snicket]

She's laughing like a choir girl
[When she doubles over sounds like hallelujah]

Practing Backgrounds

Oh and a special WIP for all you lovely people

[Can anyone tell who he is?]
14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Turn plain glass balls into fast/easy ornaments on: October 20, 2007 03:42:01 PM
I've never tried this, so I don't know if it would work.
It would probably be to heavy to hang...
Could you make it like a snowglobe? You know, how they make the jar ones? With water and glitter and a little figurine?
:shrugs:

Aw, cute!
I love Peter Pan, such an awesome book.
I know what you mean about her face
Her eyes are rather slanted, she has a very small nose and mouth, so that you could easily end up giving her a large chin, or something like that.
[The very reason I just drew Tinkerbell the way I envisioned her]
But I think you did a really nice job at avoiding that, I bet your mom loved it.

Thank you both! I'm currently planning out the scenery.
I'm thinking the window directly behind/between them, with a window seat underneath. Then glimpses of the nursery beds at the sides, perhaps.

Thank you!
18  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Peter and Wendy (WIP) on: October 08, 2007 10:30:39 PM
Just whipped this up around 2:00 this morning.
I'm planning to draw the nursery in the background.
Maybe a furious Tinkerbell evilly scheeming Wendy's death.
Hope nobody minds that it's not finished yet. I'll update on my progress.

EDIT:
Thought I'd add a close up of their faces, because you can't really see to much detail in the full view.

The hourglass bird is awesome Smiley

Ditto! So pretty!

Thanks!
I wasn't sure people were going to be able to tell what it was, just because I don't usually draw objects or animials.
