11  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Yarn Substitution Problem on: May 28, 2008 10:17:40 AM
Yarndex.com says it's a super bulky, knit on 15s at 8 sts to 4 inches.
Hope that helped some.

12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Re: Child's necklace ? on: May 09, 2008 01:16:57 PM
Thank you Lisa.  I ended up making it about 15 inches long and put a little cross in the middle.  I used two jump rings and an eye pin to hang the cross.  I guess it looks ok.

13  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Child's necklace ? on: May 06, 2008 02:44:15 PM
Hi all,
I'm fairly new to jewelery making so I have a question for all you pros!  I want to make a necklace for an 8 year old, how long should I make it?  It's a gift for her 1st Communion, so I don't want to ask her mom.  She's a normal sized kid.
Thanks,
Ellen

I have four kitties that would love some of those to play with!  I looked at the pattern but don't really understand what all the < and > mean.  Could you help?
Thanks,
Ellen

Your pieces are beautiful!  A tute for the bracelets would be great!
