5  Get Your Butt-On! Toque! in Knitting: Completed Projects by spirals420 on: July 11, 2012 12:17:56 PM
I was inspired by a super cute slouch hat I saw on Ravelry so I had to make one! I LOVE BUTTONS! Any chance to use some from my stash I am IN!

Simple knit toque with a gather and a button for pizazz!

The color is kind of washed out from the blazing hot sun but it is Grasshopper, Madeline Tosh Merino DK
I wrote out the simple pattern for it and put it on my free patterns page http://knitallthethings.blogspot.ca/

Any questions ask away!

8  Whooooooo Arrrrrre Yooooooouuuuuu! in Knitting: Completed Projects by spirals420 on: March 01, 2011 04:58:25 PM
I knit an OWLS sweater  Rav link http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/owls-2
My Ravelry link http://www.ravelry.com/projects/spirals420/owls

I modified the pattern quite a bit. Used a yarn (cascade eco wool) that did not get gauge so i fudged with all the numbers. but then went back to them for the yoke part.  then fudged around again for the rest.  Also added a hood in which i LOVE.... its exactly how i imgined it...
check out the ravelry page for details!
(and if you are not on ravelry... do it!!!)

10  A TONNE of NEW STUFF! in Knitting: Completed Projects by spirals420 on: March 01, 2011 04:35:46 PM
Knit hat with yarn from our very own AngryHippie!
This yarn is called GYPSY and i LOVE it its so soft and squishy and theres little bits of awesomeness in it!

This is called Earth and Water from the same seller..  I saw it posted on fiber friday on here and tracked it down!!

This is a Baktus scarf knit from Noro Kureyon Sock yarn

This is a hat knit out of Patons Classic Wool Merino. My girlfriend found a hat like this at her work and wanted it recreated... so i did!  i wrote down what i did so i would like to make it a pattern soon.. slouchy hat with purl bump ridges and short rows to make it nice and slouchy with out too much extra fabric...

Knit with Bernat Roving i wanted a hat to showcase the flower/feathers pin my girlfriend made. its seed stitch around the edge and candle flame lace stitch for the body of the hat... super comfy and slouchy! perfect!

Lots of knitting!!!  more details on all the projects over at ravelry.com  im spirals420 there too!

much love!
