I love the color!  I wish I had the guts to do that.  I stick at recovering things.  I bet you are a good present wrapper too lol.  I am not.

Thought I should add how it was made.  I took two kirkland boxes from costco cut a hole in the back of one and hot glued them both together.  (Was kind of surprised the hot glue kept as well as it did)  I then spray painted the box and glued on cut out labels from empty soda bottles to act as the buttons and pictures.  I painted on the black strip where the buttons went and the push dispenser area.  That was it.  I was contemplating putting on a plug to the back but did not make it that far.  Was too funny listening to people talk about how they thought I made it!  I actually had a dad ask if I got it online.  I was so proud to say that I had made it Cheesy

For some reason I could so seen these sewn onto a hat.  If you are outdoorsey this might be the thing for you.  Not a baseball cap but a round brimmed hat I suppose more of a mans hat.  I can picture it better than I can type it lol.

You could hang pictures in it.  Have kind of a floating frame thing going on...take a frame put in a pic then use fishing line to hang the frame in the middle of the frame if that makes sense lol.

could you possibly connect them together to make a tack board?  You could hang up then tack things to it.  For instance glue onto a back piece then take some type of string, yarn, or ribbon to make a hanger.  Hang it on the wall near your crafting area to hold pictures of insperation or things of that nature.

Since you like the drink so much why not make like lanterns out of the cans?  I would think you could drill out a hole in the top of the lid so you could insert a light of some kind maybe christmas light....then take a exacto knife and maybe cut out the M so the light would shine through...or could paint the cans then do some type of tin stamping of designs on it so the light shines through.  Would be neat on a patio imo.  Just a thought.
7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Pepsi Vending Machine on: November 03, 2010 11:13:03 PM

My son asked to be a vending machine for Halloween.  He specifically wanted to be the one from across the street.  This is not totally like the one across the street but I think I did an ok job.  My first post here so hope I did it right.  I was unable to find anything similar to what I was looking for online just snack vending machines and that was not what he wanted.  So I winged this.  I give credit to Pepsi since their machine inspired it Tongue  Thanks for looking!    Janelle
