Thanks for the kind words. I've been striving to achieve more calm in my life.
32  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Matchbox round 4? on: October 30, 2010 02:47:05 PM
I would totally be interested in a matchbox swap of any theme. I recently participated in A Countdown to Christmas through A Swap For All Seasons and am happily awaiting my exchange. They were fun to make and now I am hooked on matchboxes. By Jan I will definitely have been here long enough to qualify for some swaps, picture posting, etc.

These are absolutely gorgeous. I've bookmarked your Etsy shop and will be getting one for my aunt. She's a huge dragonfly fanatic. Of course, I'm not certain I can resist getting one for myself. Phenomenal use of a woodburning tool.

Thanks for the chuckle, these are great. I think they'd make really cool holiday ornaments, and might be a fun project to do with my kiddos. I'm sure they'd enjoy creating all sorts of animals.

This is sweet. I'd love to learn how to make them for my nieces for gifts. Do you have a tutorial somewhere, or would you consider publishing one?

These rock! I love the skeletons and it would be really cool to do a Day of the Dead themed matchbox swap at some point. Thanks for the inspiring photos.

That's awesome. Where'd you get the scorpion? I remember when I lived in AZ hearing tales of just how many lived in miles underground. Creepy but very cool.

I love your creativity on the matchbooks. I played in this swap for 2010 as well and it was my first time playing with matchboxes. I recently went out and bought 100 of the small boxes and then some of the bigger ones because I'm going to do this for my kids this year too. The cashier looked at me like I was nuts. However, after seeing all the (way cooler than mine) boxes come in on the A Swap For All Seasons blog I'm inspired to do more. You can view mine at lauricrowe.blogspot.com
