Wow, that looks fantastic! I think it looks sharp as it is. Sorry I can't really suggest anything to add, but I think it looks fabulous as it is!

Oh I adore this! I've always wanted a Chinese take-out purse, but I'm terrible at sewing, and your tutorial looks so helpful I'm going to have to give it a shot. Smiley Thank you!!

One quick question from the fabric newbie: I've seen fabric spray adhesive at the store before, but it says it's a temporary bond. If you use it to stick fabric to posterboard, like you do here, would the bond become permanent - or did you use a different, more permanent kind of spray adhesive?
14  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Collars Are So Underrated on: February 20, 2006 06:15:35 AM
Ohhhh I love it! The collar is such a great idea, and it looks fabulous! (Plus your shirt is hilarious too - did you make that, or where did you get it? Smiley)
15  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Apple Eating Contest on: February 17, 2006 04:51:50 PM
This is a little late, but maybe you could do something corny like "How 'bout dem apples?" for one of them?

I'm not sure if that's more of a regional catchphrase, but you get the drift.

Edit: you might be able to find something useful here: http://www.westegg.com/cliche/search.cgi?query=apple

Oh wow - "amazing" is right! I've never tried stenciling with bleach, but yours looks so good I may have to give it a shot (and have it be nowhere as awesome as yours, of course! Wink).

If you are electronically inclined, or know someone who is, perhaps you could wire it to be a remote control for your TV?

20  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Video Game Swap (SIGNUP CLOSED ; MAIL BY 3/1/06). on: February 08, 2006 11:06:38 AM
Oh, wow, I checked out classicgaming.com and they have a hosted site for Commander Keen!  Ahh, it took me back to good ol' DOS games.  My parents have several pictures of me sitting at the computer playing those, including one of me in a beloved cat costume that I continued to wear in spite of it not being Halloween.  Jill of the Jungle, Jazz Jackrabbit... anyone else play DOS games?  I actually think I remember some of the commands for DOS.

Holy cow, that's awesome! I used to LOVE Jazz Jackrabbit, Commander Keen, and Jill of the Jungle...I also played Mixed Up Mother Goose a lot. I'll have to check out that link as soon as I'm home from work, heh heh. Thanks irid3sc3nt!

Also, thanks for the helpful link, amccarter - I think that'll come in handy. Grin
