Its got a really shiney lining, I likes the shiney.

My favorite one (cause I love Mickey!)

the awesome inside mickey heads <3

I really wanted to make some large messanger style bags, but I had to use the materials I had, cause I gots no moneys, lol.

Just thought I'd show them off, because I think they're really spiffy, Im proud of myself Cheesy
12  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / An old laptop? on: July 27, 2007 02:53:27 PM
A friend gave me an old laptop to craft something out of. I think the battery is fried, it wont turn on, and I dont have any cords for it. I already have a handful of computers (Because I am a super nerd) and have no need for a third laptop, esspecially an older one like this, lol!

Anyone seen any cool ideas for a laptop like this? I was thinking of making a thin carrying case, but I also don't know how to safely take it apart and stuff, so if anyone has any info on that, either, would be cool.

Thanks for reading!
13  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Bag. With a skull on it. Its very exciting. on: May 15, 2007 07:52:09 PM

The skull is from a really old t-shirt I found in my closet that I dont think I ever wore.
(its 15 length, 13 tall and 5 wide)

There are two inside pockets, one is about 7x7, the other is made especially for a cell phone.

thanks for looking!

Not to be a complete whore (And Im so sorry if this is breaking any advertising rules!) This is up on my Ebay now, if anyone is interested Smiley
14  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Corduroy backpack on: May 06, 2007 10:03:59 PM

For my boyfriend's birthday, I got around to making him the backpack he asked for last summer. First backpack I've made, no pattern, just looked at a laptop backpack when I got confused. I attempted to make a side-pocket for a soda can, but it ended up being too long and annoying.

It looks weird and frumpy in the picture, but most people think it looks pretty badass in person.

Didn't have enough material to fully line it, so around the zipper looks pretty gnarly and all. But other than that, I think it turned out pretty good.  Grin
15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / What is this fabric, and what can I do with it? on: January 15, 2007 01:07:27 PM
I'm a tad bit blonde, and I'm trying to figure out what would be best to do with this MASSIVE amount of fabric my boyfriend snagged for me (he works at a thrift store)

Its very stretchy. Origonally, I was just going to make PJ pants or something for everyone I know, lol, but its too wide of a knit, and you can see through it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks bunches!
16  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My boyfriend is the cutest- Lvl. 3 bunny rabbit on: January 03, 2007 05:26:35 PM
We play World of Warcraft together, and one day I went off on this big ol' rant on how there is no way a cow would be able to level up to level 5 when rats (in Stormwind) are never above 1. Cows dont DO anything!
(Im a rat freak, by the way. And a nerd)

So since then, everytime we see a cow, we call it a level 5 cow.

Well, there are bunnies hopping around the game, so he made me this-

a level 3 bunny!

He has never really sewed before (except for patches on clothes or something simple) so it was way cute of him to do this.

and heres a picture of him being a weirdo with some scraps he found on my floor the other day-

17  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Something... Llama. on: August 17, 2006 11:54:05 PM
I just got back from a beach trip with some my dad, his girlfriend, siblings and their friends, and my boyfriend. (by the way, on this trip he gave me a promise ring and im suuupar happy, heheee)

anyways. our anniversay is coming up. its not a big deal anniversary or anything, but i know hes making me something.
Im going to make him and me matching friendship bracelets with these pretty dragon bead things, one of those decorated altoids boxes with some shells and pictures from our trip in it,

and what I want the big present to be is something LLAMA.

The beach we went to is called Jalama, which i've been going to for years with the family and this year i took him, and i never noticed before he said it that 'llama' is in jaLAMA. And we all started calling it llama land. well, i was so close to winning this cute llama stuffie on Ebay but was outbid at the last minute  Sad i wanted to suprise him with it on the trip.

So does anyone know of either any good llama patterns for sewing or any other good ideas i could give the boyfriend?

(hehehe sorry this was so drawn out  Tongue )
18  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Dragon, Fairy and castle- on: April 06, 2006 01:32:24 PM
on my walls! Cheesy

uummm, the castle, i pretty much totally ripped off from this picture-

but the rest of it is fairly origonal, outside of image references for anatomical purposes..

I'm going to color then and all soon.. the fairy will be sitting on a misty moon thing and holding a blue flame with butterflies around it..
19  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / I ripped off monster bag ideas from you people! on: February 26, 2006 02:54:40 PM

He's got a full set of teeth and leopard lining.
20  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Roger Manning's Piano 'purse'! on: October 29, 2005 12:21:45 PM

This is for my https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=60518.0 Roger Manning Jr. Costume
So I don't have to carry a purse (since I'm a man and all..)

Its actually more 'square' looking, rather than so soft, but I haven't figured out exactly what to line it with..
its got a zipper around the side of it. Yaay!
