1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Discussion and Questions / what to do with rainbow skinner blends? on: March 06, 2011 01:48:32 PM
I made some and I was thinking about using a mokume gane technique to cover an altoid tin, but every time I try to use that technique I fail miserably and it ends up looking like a mess.

It kind of reminds me of Jem for some reason. Outrageous! Truly, truly truly outrageous!

I love the little rat/mouse with the star on it's forehead. So cute!

5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Gaming jewelry (image heavy) on: January 22, 2011 08:03:15 PM
Thanks! I was planning on putting them on a bracelet eventually, but I don't have the right findings right now. I'll probably take a trip to my craft store and pick up some toggles. All I have are the lobster claws and I prefer to use them for necklaces. :-/

Thanks! I recommend watching youtube tutorials. gardenofimagination is a user who makes lots of miniature food item tutorials and it really helps.

He's adorable!! What about Frank Fennec? I love Fennec Foxes. My guy has a kitten with giant ears who we like to refer to as a fennec. I think he'd be adorable in a zoot suit (or pretty much anything!)

Thanks! Aww, that kitten sounds so cute! I think animal ears are the cutest possible thing on the planet, from tiny rat ears to floppy lab ears and giant fennec ears, all too cute!

I bet it would be a real challenge to make a custom zuit suit for an art doll. I could try, though, that would be swingin' Cheesy

LOL! Not only is he adorable, but since I read "fedora and suspenders," all I can think is he must be a little mobster from the dirty thirties Tongue Franco immediately popped into mind as a name.

Hahaha! I guess it does sound kind of mafia-esque now that you mention it. XD Franco the fennec: he'll make you an offa too cute to refuse. :-P

He is so CUTE!  You did a really great job.  Is it polyclay?

Thanks so much! Actually he's made from original white sculpey.
