Class: Muggle Studies
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: The Walking Dead: Zombie of the Week
Project Page Link: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=408962.0
Brief Description: I am rather taken with some muggle entertainment they call The Walking Dead - it's full of inferi-type beings which they call zombies; I tried my hand at creating one of these dreaded beasts - though my attempt shall remain spell-free and inanimate!
Project Picture:

..and I just caught up with all the posts! So many, so quickly --

@rossie; that is oh so gorgeous!! I love how you've given her little treasures she has picked up over her journeys.
@pottermouth; That transfiguration project is AMAZING! Such a clever idea -- but of course, you're Ravenclaw!! Wink
@raynebeauxx; Very pretty! I love the slips of lace! Smiley
@skatergirl1007; I Love the eclipse magnet! Beautiful colours!
@chughes225; I love your hair! That is such a pretty colour!
@teag; I ADORE your story as much as your fabulous craft! I find myself wondering what happened next, lol!
@Mloopy; I could not wear that shirt - I would think spiders were on me constantly *shudder* but it is very well done!
@teag; Such a cute bird! Are you going to send it to attack Ron. Wink

I fell in love with The Walking Dead and decided to make a two-piece plush project; Daryl Dixon shooting a random zombie in the head with an arrow! \o/ It's been sitting in my "to finish" box for awhile but after joining the HP Craft-a-long  (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=408525.0 >> check it out, it's siriusly awesome  Cheesy), I was inspired to finally finish him.

I am still working on Daryl, but I have just finished his little Zombie victim of the week! I fashioned him after the unfortunate fellow who was ripped in half when he was being pulled from the well.

He's made with my newest pattern -- well, the top half anyway! His eyes and teeth are painted with glow-in-the-dark paint for an extra dab of creepiness. It was the first time I've ever made an actual mouth for a plush, rather than painting it on. Each tooth is individually cut out, decayed with paint, and glued in.

His fingers are can be posed (the ones he has left, that is!)

The other wounds are made from fabri-tac dipped in red paint - it gives a lovely gooey, wet look.

His uh, entrails are made from polyfill, red roving fibres and some paint.

Hopefully soon I'll finish Daryl so he can play with the little dude and probably cut his ear off to add to his necklace. Wink
Thanks for looking!

@FiberAlchemist ~ Love that necklace!
@butterflyangel ~ awesome job on the scarf - lovin' the colours!!
@whistlefish ~ Awwww, such a cute little pygmy puff!
@yofi ~ Very clever idea - I bet they smell wonderful!
@teag ~ Amazing little dragons - how very fortunate you were to capture some in muggle pictures. Wink And that bottle is beautiful! Looks like it belongs in Snape's personal collection.
@thebrokenbutterfly ~ That is a gorgeous colour! It will look perfectly at home on the bus. Also love your shirt!

I have always thought of violet as being in the purple family, so it'll be interesting to see the verdict~! Cheesy

I am just putting the final touches to my Muggle Studies project -- my potions homework didn't really turn out very good.  Undecided I never was very good at that particular subject (too busy drooling over Prof. Snape to pay attention to the potions, I think!) but I shall have to try again soon! Hoping to get pics up for my MS homework tonight~!
