Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't wait to try this, and thank you for
the video, the only time I've done decreases in crocheting, is accidentally lol.

Hi, so I LOVED your Scoodie and I've attempted to make one using the V stitch and it went well thus far,
however when attempting to the hood, well it just looks weird. I did the old method of making a square but
ya it looks rather messed up. I was wondering if you could post exactly how you did the hood. I read that
you just decreased, but did you sew up one side at all and when (halfway through) did you decrease and
how so (I'm an advanced beginner crochet)?

Ha thanks Veggiechef, if you look close-up it looks a little odd because of the wool I used was um
unevenly spun, it goes from chunky to sport weight throughout the skein, but I like it, keeps me
warm and adds some brightness to my wardrobe  Cheesy

kaleidoscope_eyes, I used to be just a yarn addict, now I've added buttons to my repertoire lol.

And thanks cinnamon girl!
7  COOKING / Dessert / canoli filling! on: January 05, 2011 02:16:02 PM
So I wanted to try and make a canoli filling and I found a super simple recipe
online that was just ricotta (dried), powdered sugar and vanilla and mini
Chocolate chips, the taste was there but the super creaminess and texture of
Canoli filling from our local Italian bakery wasn't there.

So does anyone have tips and/or a really good recipe that's just like
the real thing?

Thanks and much appreciated!

So I thought I would make something for myself and as I had not
yet tackled a shawl, I thought I would attempt to do so.....

Unfortunately I didn't have enough yarn and between that and
the texture of the yarn itself, it didn't come out exactly right
but it's warm and functional....

The original pattern: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/80877AD.html?r=1

So it didn't come out quite right and is a bit small but what the hey, it's a warm
shawl to wear while crafting. Plus the nerd in my likes to buttons lol.
