1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crazy orange yarn = My new bag on: November 22, 2005 08:13:41 PM
I love this yarn, it is so fun! It's Moda Dea Lazy Daisy in Orangeade. I made a purse with it and added some things from an old purse I had.

Thanks for looking!
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / The most talented artist I've ever seen!!! on: November 15, 2005 09:40:55 PM
I just ran across this site and I HAD to share it. It's absolutley the coolest most amazing thing I've ever seen!!!

This is all done with sidewalk chalk, WOW!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / hat and scarf on: September 22, 2005 07:37:16 PM
This is a hat and scarf I made with Bernat Soft Boucle Moss yarn. It's really soft and warm.

This is me modeling it.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / I'm obsessed with purses! IMG heavy on: September 21, 2005 09:03:26 PM
I love purses. Until I found Craftster I bought purses all the time, but then I saw all the great ideas here and I've just gone crazy making them from old clothes or whatever else I can think of. Here's a some I've made in
the last few months.

This one is stencled:

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / my (old) favorite shirt on: September 21, 2005 08:46:21 PM
I was cleaning out my closet one day and I just couldn't get rid of this shirt even though I hadn't worn it in a really long time. So...of course I made a purse.

I added some ribbon and a button to make it more girlish.

That's Jasmine seeing if she'll fit inside.

I used the shirt for the front and the lining and some old gray pants for the rest.
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / collage purse on: September 21, 2005 08:37:03 PM
My son got a big soft Elmo book for his 1st birthday a few months ago so I used the vinyl bag it came in to make a new bag.

(from an old t-shirt)

The strap is made from wide pink ribbon.
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / really old jacket=new purse on: September 21, 2005 08:31:17 PM
My dad had this old corduroy suit jacket from the 70's and a tie that matched that he was *finally* getting rid of so I got it before the trash or Goodwill did and made this with the outer pockets.

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / bouncy ball earrings on: September 21, 2005 08:18:22 PM
I made these awhile back. I've never actually worn them, I just thought they were fun.

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / funfur scarf on: September 21, 2005 07:41:08 PM
I have a love/hate relationship with funfur. It's so pretty but aaahhhhhh it's a pain to work with.

(this one is mixed with white worsted weight yarn)

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / granny square bag on: September 21, 2005 07:15:39 PM
I made this with a pattern for Red Heart Hokey Pokey that I got from the Red Heart website.
I used my own colors and added some extra things to make it a little different.
