Thank you, everyone for your kind words!  Good luck Marieke!  I am a total newb (under a year crocheting) so it was difficult for me at first.  The tutorial is very nice and I employed it, heavily.

I would be interested in another round!  However, I think my color scheme will be remaining the same for send-outs.  The Variegated option was a really nice touch!  I think you should keep it Smiley

I'm making this and am on row 7. It is still really small. How big should it be when you are ready to begin row 7? I'm using the size of crochet hook that it says in that tutorial and following the tutorial exactly as it says.

I don't think that mine really started to grow until I was past row 17.  I restarted it a few times because of mistakes.  Keep at it!  It will come along Smiley  Such a fun pattern when you finally figure it out.

I used a 3.75mm Hook and Fingering weight yarn with mine.  I hope that is somewhat helpful Smiley

I received the rest of my GDs from Beautifully Frayed the other day!

btw Beautifully Frayed, which yarn did you use for the top three colors of GDs? It's really soft and it gave me a fantastic idea for an afghan!

I am so glad you liked them!  The top three colors were made from Hobby Lobby's I love this cotton!  They usually have them on sale quite often.  I use it for hats and potholders Smiley
