SweaterEyers... I got it, I got my package.  I was so excited when I saw it on the counter (as my husband did not tell me when I walked in the door that I had recieved my package)!

So I began tearing it open immediatly to see what was inside...

(and a note on top labeled to open last!)

I first unwrapped a colorful bunch of heart shaped magnets neatly wrapped up with a small gift for my son (He LOVED it, he will use it as a zipper put on his jacket).  A note attached said that the box lid spelled his name in STARWARS script.
Then I pulled out a Kitty (octo) made from recycled felt that was dyed to match my Kitty Smiley  GREAT JOB!

I get out the next wrapped package.  It is 2 handmade Flower clips made from yarn... SweaterEyes used a Flower Loom to make them.

My box is so FULL!  Next I find, 10 painted (in my favorite colors, with a pattern that reminds me of bubbles Grin) clothes pins... This will help me organize and display my work in my craft/commputer room.
And finally I find a Large Basket made from Re-cycled Newspapers.  SweaterEyes hand dyed it to my favorite color (blue).  I can't wait to try making one of these.

This swap was GREAT!  SweaterEyes THANK YOU SO MUCH!  I LOVE ALL OF MY SWAP ITEMS.  This was so much fun getting to know you and making crafts for each other.
A Photo Of Everthing...
Thank you Grin

16  Home is Where the Heart Is... Made from Recycled T-shirts in CHALLENGE 62 ENTRIES by Lynnz232 on: May 08, 2011 05:39:29 PM
This crocheted round rug was made from an old white T-shirt that I made into yarn.

It was then dyed in shades of blue to mimick the earths picture from space.  I dyed another old white shirt with shades of green to make the land/grassy areas of the earth.  I cut the green "yarn" into short pieces and pulled it through the open areas of the rug to make a shag look.

I then put in a red HEART over Michigan where my HOME is with "yarn" made from a recycled red T-shirt!
