I got my package from mama24boyz! Thank you so much! It's amazing!
I've been out of town forever (I was home long enough to take pictures (then I left)) so I could only take one picture.

3  Baby Tree of Life Throw in Knitting: Completed Projects by Pretty Little Rainbow on: August 11, 2011 03:16:41 PM
I knitted the Lion Brand Pattern here: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/90430AD.html?noImages=

I started it to practice my cables (I was a newb then). It took me nearly a year to complete it because I put it down for a few months (now I'm awesome at it). I stole the yarn from the stash my grandmother left us when she moved out; it's super soft.

The whole thing.
Garden (a flower garden to be exact).  Grin
Leaf Border. I love the border

I don't have a baby and I don't know anyone who does so I really don't have any attachment to this piece :/ It'd make a great gift. The yarn is yellow so it's appropriate for a boy and a girl.

5  Upholstery Fabric Jacket in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Pretty Little Rainbow on: June 13, 2011 04:27:41 PM
There really isn't much to say about this since I used a commercial pattern (this one in fact: http://www.simplicity.com/p-4462-misses-dresses-cynthia-rowley-collection.aspx) and I made it for myself, not much of a story. I swear everyone has this pattern; feel free to show off your completed jacket.

I made it with upholstery fabric I bought on a whim at a local upholstery fabric store.
action shot of backside  Wink
detail of front
detail of sleeve. i used old D-rings from a pair of tripp pants that i owned back in the day.
here's marilyn modeling the thing. she makes more money than i do modeling because of her 25" waist  Angry

6  Quilted Pot Holders in Quilting: Completed Projects by Pretty Little Rainbow on: June 07, 2011 11:38:01 AM
Just sharing some pot holders and oven mitts that I made since I never put anything up here. I have knitted sweaters and big quilts and numerous dresses that I never posted on craftster Sad

It took me forever to get these done, mostly because I didn't want to work on them  Grin

Got the idea from this place http://yesimadethat.blogspot.com/ just search pot holders and I'm sure you'll find it somewhere

7  Re: Apocalypse Fashion Swap Gallery: Sendouts 3/8 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Pretty Little Rainbow on: March 12, 2011 04:53:04 PM
I received from aheartofglass! I got the package Thursday but I've been awfully busy. Here's what I got:

A slab, I'm honestly not sure what to use it for  Huh Do I cut cheese on it or burn candles?

Jewelry! The earrings are actually not to heavy, thank you! And the bracelet is so pretty.

Super cool magnets of the seasons and a little good luck charm!

Here's the back, there's a penny. The front says " Find a penny...pick it up. All day long you'll have good luck!" Did the penny change color in the process of fusing the glass? It looks really pretty.

The whole package is so cool! I can't even imagine what it took to make all this. Glass is expensive isn't it?  Shocked You use a kiln to melt it right? I really don't know much about glass, it's fascinating. aheartofglass wrote all of these treasures into this super cool plot, it really made everything special.  Smiley

here's my pictures! The jacket and holster were made from a jacket, button up shirt, t-shirt, wife-beater, and slip from goodwill.

I finally got my package from IsikkahJai! And no one will see how awesome it is because this gallery probably doesn't get much traffic anymore  Sad

The first thing I opened was this embroidered shirt!

It's AMAZING. It must've taken forever!

What's in the box?

...earrings and a charm!!

and the best part (well maybe not the shirt is pretty cool)...

Thanks IsikkahJai for being my angel  Kiss the package was great! And everything was wrapped in pretty ribbons!

10  Little Bo Peep in Halloween Costumes by Pretty Little Rainbow on: November 04, 2010 04:37:35 PM
I made my sister a costume for Halloween. Spent all my time on it but I think it was worth it. She originally had no idea what she wanted to be. I gave her the idea of being Bo Peep and she thought about it until the last minute. Three days before our first costume event, I started to make the costume.

I used a simplicity pattern, but as you can see I added a few things, chucked a few things... it's a lot better than a simplicity pattern. In fact, while trick-or-treating someone noticed that the costume was handmade  Grin

Apron (I drafted the pattern myself):

Sleeve detail:

Collar detail:

Bloomers detail:

The petticoat I bought online for myself a long long long time ago.
