hi green gablers!

did anyone notice there is no waist shaping in this pattern?

The picture is really deceiving - the tee appears to hug the model's waist!

does anyone plan to experiment with shaping? i think i might...but my size 6 needles are tied up currently, so i can't start this yet!

Hi  - in case anyone doesn't have yarn and wants to use the recommended, cotton fleece is on sale at yarnzilla.com for $6.35. Shipping is $5 flat.

I think i may use my DB baby cashmerino...and frog the MNSS cardi (sorry Wendy).

I'm in too!  Ordered KP Merino Style in Petal and Asparagus.  Waiting (patiently!) till 4/7 for the asparagus...

hitbyabus - I think your swatches are very close - but the garter stitch triangle in the original bag has at least 9 ridges in the row right before you knit them all together.  To me this means you may not need to decrease as much as you are - fewer decreases would create the more ruffled look.  I have no idea if this would impact the total # of stitches you need for the stockinette triangle...but since you decrease all the stitches to 1 in the garter stitch triangle, it doesn't really matter....

not sure if that helped at all...keep trying!

Yeah, I know it is a bit of a clash...but the green part may work...just for the toes.

I have some Vesper left from my jaywalkers...scroll back a few pages to see the color and let me know if you're interested!

wow - I forgot all about this KAL...My orangina has been sitting in a bag, my longest standing UFO since summer!  I needed my sz 3 needles for another project, and never went back to it!

Maybe when the weather gets warmer I'll pick it up again...looks like I may have some company!

Has anyone else seen the Knitting Olympic countdown bar from Anny Purls blog? The code is here for your blog!

I added the code to my blog - albeit incorrectly (Thanks Emmie for your fixing!), but it still looks funny, because the text is the same color as my blog text...and it can't be changed...uuuuhhhh....any suggestions?

I've always been a bit on the fence about the Jaywalkers, but LOVE yours. What yarn did you use?

I used Vesper Sock yarn in the "Knit and Tonic" colorway. It's self-striping (makes PERFECT stripes!) More info on my blog.

Are they comfy to wear with shoes? I really want to make some more socks, but I want them to be socks I can wear outside of the house.

I don't think I could wear them with shoes, they are too thick.  Other sock knitters have purchased clogs, but they're not really my style...so I guess I'm stuck wearing them around the house!
