21  Re: Book of Shadows Round 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by whileitsraining on: June 26, 2013 01:40:15 PM

Ok Hopefully this works, its should be my photobucket album for this swap wtih 9 photos in it!!!! Monnie spoiled me!  The wood burned album is EXACTLY what I was wanting.  I am trying to get away from the ugly 3 ring binder that I am currently using, but still make it something that can be added too over time.  I asked for front and back book covers and she sent me just that Cheesy  Along with tons of extras there was some really great info on tinctures, salves, balms, and recipes.  Its all perfect.  Thank you so much Monnie!

Ok I finally got one to load! Smiley Here they are side by side outside in the sun.  The left one is sitting on a tree made from real wood.  Below him is moss, bark, and pretty little mushroom and floral charms. There are also some really cool seed pods that I have never seen before too.  The charms and the owl are metal embellishments in a brassy, antique finish.  I love his giant eyes.  The one on the right is hanging out on a real wood stump with moss surrounding its base.  It is an adorable little plush felty owl with the cutest face ever!  I have some more detailed pictures, but my phone and craftster are fighting, I think my cable for my computer may be dieing Sad I will keep trying and hopefully get some of the close ups posted.  Thank you so much AMIFRIENDS I love them both and can't wait to display them once we move!

Ok here is my fabulous package from Wulf.

First is a pillow that has a sachet in it of rosebuds and hops. It smells so good! In fact the entire package smelled great.  The back side has a button closure that I can use to replace the sachet when needed.  The front side has a GORGEOUS embroidered pentacle on it.  I love that fact that this item started out as something completely different.

Here is my extra goodies.  The newest Witches' Almanac ( I LOVE these!) A handmade candle which smells great even if we don't know what the scent is.  This candle is suppose to burn for 3 days!  And also some incense, I have never seen incense like this before.  Its like twisted/braided strings? It smells great too, I can't wait to use it.

Thank you for such a lovely package!  I am glad you enjoyed yours as well.

Bob and his crew arrived today! Thanks so much to Jen Sews for being my angel Smiley

Bob has eyes all round his head!  Bob also has a wicked awesome combover, but the question is, which way do you comb it over to?

Bob arrived with 4 friends!  My 2 yr old promptly ran off with all of them and I was only able to locate 3 for a picture!  We are missing a little tye dye colored felt guy Sad  Obviously she loved them as much as I do though!  She was carrying them around in her little purse and then tossing them around in the air.

Thank you so much Jen!  These are all great and Bob will have his own spot on my sewing table.  I love them all Smiley

I haven't heard from my partner in a bit so I am posting the monster I sent to her.

This is Blurp.  He's a little shy and doesn't think he is scary at all.

When Blurp leaves the house he puts on his scary costume.

And here they are side by side.

I was going for a puddle-y outerspace monster.  The costume is defiantly more so than Blurp.  I love them both though!

28  Re: WWP 42 Ostara Egg-stravaganza Gallery in The Swap Gallery by whileitsraining on: March 20, 2013 12:45:26 PM
I get to start this gallery off with a lovely Egg-stravagant package from Betsy  Grin

She sent me a large box filled with goodies!   In it was this lovely Ostara wreath that I immediatly hung on my very naked and ugly front door.  The sun was shining today so I got a great picture.  There was also a painted bucket with instructions on a DIY Ostara tree.  The bucket add the foam in the bottom and I had the girls pick up some fallen branches while we were walking home from the bus stop.  I just stuck those bad boys in and trimmed them to my likeing.  Then I had the girls help me decide where to hang the eggs.  We stuck the little egg-y floral picks in and covered the foam with the fun paper grass.

Here is a picture of the rest of the eggs on the tree and some other eggs she sent.  I think we will make a streamer/banner type thing with the pretty sequined ones.  The black ones are chalkboard painted eggs that I will write the girls names on and hide for them Wink  There was also a fun set of cookie cutters, adorable egg candles, and some paper mache base eggs for us to decorate ourselves!

Thank you so much Betsy!  We love it all, and the girls can't wait to make more eggs for our little tree Smiley

29  Re: WWP Round 41 - Imbolc Wall Art Gallery in The Swap Gallery by whileitsraining on: January 31, 2013 12:55:47 PM
Ok here is the fabulous wall art I received on Monday from Mandykaye!

A beautiful stamped fabric wall hanging, this is just so pretty in person, with the layering of the colors and the the metallic of the gold paint!.  I recently acquired an lovely end table (sitting outside the dumpster by our compactor lol) that I think I will use as my permanent altar from now on, this is the perfect thing to hang above it!

Here is a bonus painting she did that I squealed aloud when I opened it, I have a HUGE obsession/collection of owls.  This is going to get matted and framed, cause it is sooo gorgeous!

And lastly some extra owlie spoilage Smiley I love magnets and have two fridges covered in them! And these danglely earrings are too cute!

We are also doing a personal swap and here is the jewelry she sent me!

I am still working on my top secret Pinterest inspired project (which I am in love with!), but I just love this jewelry so much I had to share!
