1  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Trying to blow glass is not that easy! on: November 30, 2010 11:48:18 AM
This is me... working on my projects at Riker's Studio. I started taking this class last year and it has been slow going. At first you could not even identify "what it is"  that I was making. These are some of my most recent pieces.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Not Traditional Tie-Dye T-shirts on: November 30, 2010 07:30:53 AM
We made these Tie-Dyed t-shirts this summer as a kids camp project. We used Spray on Dye instead of the traditional dyes that we have used in previous years. It was a lot easier, we did not have to prep the shirts as we had to before. We did not have to use rubberbands either. We just folded, swirled & scrunched the fabric. I really like the AIRBRUSH effects, we got some really cool effects. Stars & stripes & bursts of colors. The kids favorites were the Bright colors this year. Everyone ended up with a great looking T to take home. I'm new to this (& dense in the head), so I can't get the hang of the member gallery photo posting to here so I put all the pictures in my member gallery
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Baby Onesies on: September 05, 2010 08:04:06 AM
I threw a baby shower and there were so many cool ideas to decorate all the plain boring white baby clothes.
I did this one with a bug stencil from Stencil1 and Simply Spray Fabric Paint.

First I made sure the stencil was stuck down to the fabric really well and protected the rest with paper towel.
Then sprayed the stencil with the Spring Green and peeled it off.
I made tiny scrunches all over the rest of the onesie and sraayed it all over with Apple Green & Spring Green. I tryed to post a picture of it but they will not allow it. It is in my photo hosting.

I need more ideas for decorating baby clothes. It is so cute when thay put it on. I Love babies.
