Great job on the scarf! I've tried making scarves and ponchos via crochet but I tend to crochet way to tight and it all comes out curvy and looks like a hot mess that is why I stick to my Ami  Cheesy.

That is true about the size.  I use them for smaller projects, or when I am fiddling with my needle and thread and don't want to waste my safety eyes. I am so compulsive I have to make a small scale version of something before I actually make a good sized doll/animal, just to make sure it looks alright lol.  Cheesy

Black pony beads work wonders, also they are a whole lot cheaper than some of the other options. I think I paid 1.97 for 500 beads. There is an awesome youtube video here  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAcUttz7pWM that shows you how to use the pony beads as eyes.   Wink
