11  A white owl! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by azreno on: June 24, 2011 03:00:44 PM
This is something I had seen a lot of folks do....use white and it's like a faux bone carving. I don't know wyy it took me so long to try it, I love the look so much and I think it turned out pretty darned well. I highly recommend everyone try it on at least once  Grin

13  A steampunk owl in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by azreno on: June 12, 2011 03:09:48 PM
I love this little guy, he looks so bad =) The octopus you all might remember I'd done before but this time I added goggles to him, I think this one is much better...everyone keeps calling him adorable though, not sure I like that.

14  Hopefully a gear shifter knob! in Completed Projects by azreno on: May 13, 2011 07:49:02 AM
Hi all! I usually post in the polymer clay section but I thought it would be fun to show this completed piece here. It's a custom piece that included certain elements requested by the customer. The hope is that he can make a good mold of it and cast it in metal to use as a gear shifter knob in an antique Cadillac. He stands about 3.25" tall, entirely polymer clay.

15  Current project in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by azreno on: May 09, 2011 04:20:55 PM
This is a custom piece and it is not complete, but I finally have the skull done and what a sigh of relief. It looks way better in person, too, it really does not photograph well. It's 2" tall, when he's all done he'll have an awesome full head of hair  Grin I will probably go back and make the teeth cleaner.

16  More steampunky than my usual work in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by azreno on: May 01, 2011 04:09:21 PM
There's a monthly themed even in downtown Mesa and last month was steampunk! So I hunkered down to try and make some things that would really catch their eye since my normal stuff is more industrial than steampunk...and it worked  Grin Everyone who stopped by and most did, loved my stuff. Here are a couple of the goodies I came up with

17  Re: Information on Business Card?? in Crafty Business Discussion by azreno on: March 08, 2011 03:51:02 PM

You have to decide what are the things are you want someone to know to be able to find you. For me, it's important that folks 'like' my FB page so they can get updates of my new stuff, so I have it nice and big along with my artfire shop. No phone#, why would anyone need my phone, it's isn't a brick and mortar and I always reply to emails quickly although most people wlil post to my FB if they ahve a question or comment or contact me thru my shop, so many ways to get ahold of someone without needing a phone #. And again, if it isn't a brick and mortar, why would you need your address on your card. You might put what you do as a title, yes, but make it what you want people to know, feel free to personalize it, if your shop is flashy, make your title flashy, 'fashion designer extraordinaire', if you like, clothes designer if that's what you prefer...but what you put there is what folks will read and how they'll perceive you and your business.

20  Technicolor Fishies! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by azreno on: March 03, 2011 10:41:19 AM
OK, they're not finished yet, but I love them so much I couldn't wait....all they need is a sealer and I like to let the wax sit for awhile before sealing it. I think I might be going over to the dark side....colored clay lol Although I was trying to use up some of my premo with this so I can switch back to all kato, and I have to say, I don't know why anyone likes premo, it is so smooshy, that makes it so hard to work with IMO  Sad
