heya, i used purple acrylic and fabric medium for this, i havn't washed it yet so i'm jst praying it doesn't run, anyone had any experience with washing theres?

It's not that good up close but from afar it looks ok i think! xxx

heya, well i had a pink top and a white top that i was bored of, originally this was going to have buttons in the front, but firstly i didnt know how to do them and secondly trying to do them ended up with me making a hole in the bit thats now turned inwards!

hey, ive finally finished this skirt, there were a few disasters because ive discovered houndstooth material is *very* prone to fraying! enough talk, its picture time!!

ok, well i made this for christmas day, i didnt have a pattern and just made it up as i went along, i still have no idea what i did!!

Its quite tight to get on, because i didnt buy a big enough zip... not clever!! hehe

That's cool - how did you do the pantaloons? I have to make an Arabic Princess costume (imagine Princess Jasmine from Aladdin - disney version) and don't know how to go about it.

Ahh, well my sisters dance teacher gave us a pattern, but i looked at it and its basically a "baggy trouser" pattern, with wide hips going down into a small legs:

Then just gather the top onto a waist band, mine was gold.
*honestly, the instructions for this were terrible* Then Put elastic in the bottom and gather them up aswell. I think that explains it  Undecided xxx
