11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Meet Rachat! on: October 06, 2011 02:58:49 AM
That's totally cute. Love the expression in his face. It seems like he's really proud of something Smiley
12  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Silver Seraphina Shawl on: October 05, 2011 01:02:33 PM
I absolutely love that shawl! Wish I had the time to do something like that for myself. But I might make one like that for my grandma's birthday.
13  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: DIY: Vintage Button Clips on: October 05, 2011 11:52:27 AM
Wow, those look cool Smiley and they are so easy. That's incredible. Hm, didn't I just buy a box full of nice buttons? They'll be gone before I know it...
14  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Gauge - Cold Shoulder on: February 22, 2011 01:54:36 AM
Hi
I got the German version of the book and I am not sure whether the gauge for the Cold Shoulder capelet is correct. It says 10 stitches x 4 rows sc = 10cm x 10cm (about 4 inches x 4 inches). Does the English version says this too? I think mine wasn't half as long.

Thanks Smiley
15  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Fake Swapping Craft-along (ongoing) on: January 26, 2011 07:49:19 AM
Oh, this is such a great idea, since the prospect of spending much shipping money and giving away my address to many people often stops me from looking closer at the swaps. And I am a procastinator, so that just adds to the anti-reasons (is that a word?).
Well, now I have no excuse:

My name is new_bee
I am joining the Fill a jewelry box Swap
I will make a jewelry box, 3 pairs of earrings, 2 necklaces, bracelet and a ring
It is due by Feb 28, 2011

Btw: the Gallery already looks great thus far Cheesy
16  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Stitchalongs / Re: Big Project stitch-along 2011 on: January 23, 2011 11:43:23 AM
Oh, dammit, you're right. Now I have to redo all of it. Ah well, better now than after having finished the first page or something. Good thing I posted the WIP shot this early. Thanks for pointing it out. I assumed the two strands stood for the embroidery yarn.
Okay, I'm off then pulling apart my yarn, which will cost me some nerves but I hope to regain them again when being able to work bigger.
Thanks again.

Wow those are great. I love the first one.
Oh and the backgrounds are really, really sweet.
18  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Stitchalongs / Re: Big Project stitch-along 2011 on: January 23, 2011 09:17:50 AM
Wow, I love what's been presented up to now, it looks amazing.
And you are all so quick. I finally bought a kit I had my eyes on for months, but I guess I'm a little insane for this is my first try at crossstich ever and this motif has 10.5 stitches per cm and around 470x520 stitches in total. So far I have been working at it for about 5-6 hours and it's a little bit frustrating because I covered so little space. I mean I knew that it would take some time, but this much...
Well, anyway here's how it will hopefully look like:

And this it what I managed so far (cent for size referance):
19  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Journal for a month swap GALLERY on: January 12, 2011 07:17:44 AM
These journals look great! I love the cover with the birds and that little shrine is super cute.
20  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Plethora of Earrings (including Harry Potter, Twilight, Celtic, etc.) on: January 09, 2011 09:12:05 AM
They are gorgeous! I love how they clearly referr to a theme but could also be seen completely individual. Did you form the little figures yourself? They are so detailled. It's hard to pick a favourite but I think I'd take the Heart of Slytherin ones. Great work Smiley
