61  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Portable CD player on: July 01, 2005 05:33:26 PM
That Retro-Pod thing is so cool! It's a shame that Sony got mad and shut that guy down.
I say we should REBEL and sue Sony for making bad walkmen!(Get it?  Because they were so bad people had to turn them into Ipod holders?)
Anyways,
Thank's for your ideas.
My CD player is still on my shelf waiting for inspiration to strike and blow it up!

Hmm... It's such a shame to through something that once held such an important roll in my life away!  (I now have an MP3 player.)
I'll keep searching...
Thanks.

I hope this is the right place to put this... I need help!

So here's the deal.
My personal CD player just broke... you know, the travel kind?
(The one's your not supposed to listen to in school.  Smiley)
I wanted to do something crafty with it...
Any ideas?
Thanks!

It could be worse...
You could always have yarn in your hair...
haha
65  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knitting needles on airplanes? on: April 16, 2005 01:12:14 PM
I went on a flight and had no problems with my knitting needles.
I know they make collapsable ones... that might just be for convence and not for safety.
I'm not sure about international flights... might want to check on that.
On the same subject, there was a post on how this person made a traveling thing for their knitting needles etc.
I thought it was REALLY cool.
Have a nice flight!

That's really cool.  I think I'll make myself something similar.
Thanks for the great idea!
