1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Bavarian Crochet Baby Blanket in Baby Coordinates on: July 18, 2011 11:20:22 AM
I just love this blanket!!! The stitch looks identical to the Wool Eater blankets. Does anyone know if they are the same or not?
Thanks for sharing!

I would love to see your version of the blanket, but without a link to your website or a pic there is no way to see it. It is a lovely pattern.

Gorgeous!!! If I could afford this & wasn't a crocheter myself, I'd definitely buy it. It's awesome & so is your parasol & other projects. I adore the spiderweb pattern too.Together with the colors it's the perfect combo.

Oh, what a beautiful bag!  Cool I love the black & white combo & especially the flowers patch.

I've already been on eBay & found them. I'm planning to decide on something to use them on myself. They are lovely. One of these days I plan to learn to embroider so I can make things like this myself, but it's wonderful to have them easily available. I have a dear friend who now lives far from me. She loves Betty Boop & I've found embroidered patches for her. Thanks for telling us how to get them.

I love them all! They are terrific!

Wow! I think it's gorgeous! When my last DGS was born 2 years ago I made several solid blankets & he just never used them. Babies are inside most of the time & if a blanket is used when they are tiny,it's usually very light. So I wouldn't worry about it being lacy. Now, after they get older the lacy ones can cause problems if there is anyway they can get fingers stuck in it or anything torn off it. Great job! This one will probably end up being an heirloom that's passed down.

Very pretty bedspread! I love the colors together.

You did a beautiful job on that shawl! I love the color & the shape came out perfect. You should be very proud of this! I love shawls. I hardly ever wear them, but I always find excuses to make them & sometimes decorate my room with them. I've always wanted to make one of those....

What a wonderful afghan & a lovely present! I remember reading that with cotton thread if you put vinegar or salt (Can't remember which or if it's both.) in the rinse water the bleeding will stop. I don't know if this works with acrylic or not.

I'd tell them to only wash it in cold water as a precaution. I just love the colors  you chose. I made an afghan that was fisherman's to dark brown with different beiges & browns in between & it's turned out to be my favorite afghan. I just love neutrals & I think the dark red is a wonderful addiction. Great afghan!!!
